How do I choose which printer prints receipts, kitchen tickets, and batch summaries?

Each tablet has its own printer roles in the Sidro POS Android app. You can use one printer for everything, or a different printer for each job.

• Receipt printer: sale receipts and reprints.
• Fulfillment printer: kitchen or bar tickets. Choose Use receipt printer to print them on the same printer.
• Batch summary printer: the batch (cash register) summary. Same as receipt printer uses the Receipt printer.

Steps:

1. Tap the More tab, then under Station tap Thermal printers.
2. Under Printer roles, tap a printer under Receipt printer, Fulfillment printer, and Batch summary printer. Each choice saves right away.
3. If your branch has prep stations, use Station fulfillment printers to pick a printer for each station.
4. Tap Done.

Good to know:

• Kitchen tickets do not fall back to the receipt printer. If Fulfillment printer is Not assigned, tickets do not print on this tablet.
• Stations left on Use default fulfillment printer print on the Fulfillment printer.
• Add the printer first if Saved profiles is empty (see How do I set up printers on Android?).
• Printing from a computer isn't supported yet.
