How do I add a note or special instruction to an order?

On Point of Sale, tap the message icon on a cart line to open Item note (prep instructions for that item). For the whole ticket, use Order note on the cart (shown on the kitchen ticket). Notes appear on kitchen tickets and on Orders sale details when present.
