What happens when I hit the 500 SKU limit on Starter?

Starter allows up to 500 SKUs (item codes). When you reach the limit, Add Product and Import CSV are blocked until you deactivate items or upgrade. Professional and Enterprise have unlimited SKUs. Catalog shows your SKU usage.
